Crypto-Asset Placement Service

RIV Digital acts as a technical and organizational intermediary for public access to crypto-asset offerings compliant with the MiCAR Regulation. It does not provide personalized advice or make recommendations: the initiative is always the client’s own. Offers are made available exclusively through proprietary channels reserved for registered clients—the RIV Wallet app, proprietary web platform, opt-in newsletter, and official social media channels. Telegram, WhatsApp, and RIV Academy do not constitute promotional or placement channels and are intended solely for community, updates, education, and non-transactional support. Each opportunity is accompanied by a white paper and information document; prior to placement, RIV Digital verifies the issuer’s identity and signs a framework agreement defining the scope, duration, and promotional methods. Subscriptions are made via smart contracts or direct links, in compliance with European regulations, subject to KYC/AML verification, for retail and institutional clients. RIV Digital does not guarantee returns and retains data and materials in a secure and auditable format for at least five years.

Exchange crypto-assets for funds and other crypto-assets

With RIV Digital, you can easily convert fiat currencies into cryptocurrencies and vice versa (on-ramp and off-ramp) through a service integrated into the non-custodial wallet developed by RIV Technologies. Users can purchase stablecoins with euros or dollars and convert their cryptocurrencies back into fiat currency with direct deposit to their bank account. Cryptocurrencies remain fully available to the user within their non-custodial wallet at all times: RIV Digital does not provide custody services. Simple and secure transactions are carried out via the RIV Wallet app. The cost of each conversion is determined according to the pricing methodology published by RIV Digital (see the Transparency – Prices, Costs and Commissions section). Transaction processing is ensured by the RIV HWOP infrastructure, located in the EU, which exclusively handles conversion processing for the time strictly necessary to complete them, without ever assuming custody of users’ assets.

Service recipients

The exchange service is aimed at a single customer category: retail customers residing or established in the European Union, admitted to the service after completing KYC/AML checks. RIV Digital does not apply any additional customer classifications and does not differentiate contractual terms based on the experience or skills declared by the customer.

Scope of crypto-assets admitted to the service

Only cryptoassets included in the list published in the Transparency section, which is updated with each new listing, are admitted to the exchange service. Admission of a cryptoasset to the service is subject to verification, according to the internal selection policy, of the following objective requirements:

availability of a white paper notified and published pursuant to Articles 6-8 MiCAR, for crypto-assets for which the Regulation requires it;
continuous availability of market data from at least three independent sources among those used by the Company to determine the Market Reference Price;
availability of the environmental impact indicators required by Article 66, paragraph 5, MiCAR and by Delegated Regulation (EU) 2025/422;
Successful completion of AML/CFT checks on the crypto-asset and its blockchain network.

RIV Digital does not provide advice on cryptoassets, makes recommendations, and does not express evaluations of the merits, preferences, or comparative judgments on individual cryptoassets or cryptoasset classes. The choice of cryptoasset to trade is entirely up to the client.

Digital Education and Support Service

RIV Digital does not limit itself to providing technical tools but supports its users with a dedicated digital education and support service. Through the RIV Academy platform, informational materials, and direct channels such as Telegram and WhatsApp, investors have access to clear, transparent, and always up-to-date content. These channels are intended exclusively for informational, educational, and non-transactional support purposes and do not constitute offering or placement channels for crypto-assets. Each initiative is designed to make the mechanisms of crypto-assets understandable and facilitate informed decisions, without ever becoming personalized advice. The goal is to build a complete experience where ease of use and training combine to accompany retail and institutional clients on their journey into the digital world, always with maximum attention to regulatory compliance and security.
